Where the scare gives back.
Broadview Heights, Ohio · Bloodview Haunted House
Bloodview is more than a haunted house. It is a volunteer-built tradition with a charity mission at its center.
Founded in 1980 and presented by the Broadview Heights Lions Club, Bloodview is produced with The Legion of Terror. The attraction is built by volunteers and changes with the people, characters, and ideas that keep it moving.
That community is the heart of the first released Behind the Mask haunt conversation with Ed McDonald, known in the haunt world as Brody. His story opens the door to the performers, makeup artists, and crew who make the experience feel alive.
Bloodview’s public materials describe it as Cuyahoga County’s only charity haunted house; the current site reports that the attraction has helped raise more than $5 million.
The Bloodview mission
Built by volunteers. Made for a cause.
Bloodview connects the thrill of a changing, interactive haunt with community fundraising. Every actor, makeup artist, builder, and crew member adds to an experience that exists for more than the scare in front of the guest.
The attraction’s public history begins in 1980, while The Legion of Terror’s own public history begins in 1985.
For the current 2026 season, Bloodview lists Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 PM to midnight, with Sunday hours beginning September 27 from 8:00–10:00 PM. Single passes are listed at $20; check the official site for current hours, themes, and ticket options.
