Haunt Spotlight

Dayton Scream Park

Dayton, Ohio

A long night of detailed scenes, committed performers, tactile scares, and people who kept giving everything until the final group.

About the haunt

A full route built from several distinct worlds.

Dayton Scream Park combines multiple attractions into one continuous experience. The route moves through different environments and performance styles while keeping the night connected as a single journey.

Behind the Mask experience

The last groups still got the full show.

Behind the Mask was among the final groups through that night. Even after hours of performing, resetting scenes, and moving guests through the route, the cast stayed committed. The scenes felt detailed, thoughtfully planned, and lived-in rather than thrown together.

The tactile and textured elements were a major part of the experience. They made the attraction feel physical and unpredictable, adding a sensory layer that stayed with us after the walkthrough.

We also noticed the work beyond the performance: the props, decorating, and scene dressing that make every room possible. Lance was welcoming, and the pride he has in his crew was obvious. Special thanks to Chad Rinehart from Forsaken Forest for helping make the connection.
